Tuesday is my grocery shopping day. Each Tuesday I will list one or two of the best deals I got.
Albertson's: I got four 12-oz (16 slices) packages of Kraft Singles for $1.50 a piece. Albertson's takes Fred Meyer coupons, and FM had a coupon for 2 packages for $4. Then, I added a manufacturer's coupon for buy 3, get 1 free. $6.00 for 64 slices of American cheese. Not bad!
Safeway: I got 6 3-roll packs of Rolaids for FREE. They were on sale for 10 for $10. I had 6 $1.00 off coupons (this is where bumming those Sunday coupon inserts from people really pays off). Badda-bing, badda-boom! 180 Rolaids tablets for FREE. Well, OK, I probably had to pay the sales tax, so technically I guess I paid 54 cents (yes, sales tax is 9.0% here--thankfully there is no sales tax on food).
