Here's a little savin' o' the green in honor of St. Patrick's Day:
Albertson's: 12-oz Steamfresh frozen veggies for 66 cents each after coupon, a savings of 75%. I'm going to miss Albertson's...they are too far away for me to justify going there anymore. I had a great savings week, nearly 70% off my entire purchase, thanks to a $5.00 off coupon for purchasing specific items on a previous shopping trip.
Safeway: Safeway coupon for 18 eggs for 97 cents, a savings of 77%.
So far, I am pleased by my post-layoff grocery shopping. By using our stockpiles as much as possible, I have chopped our grocery bills nearly in half.
