article in the Seattle Times this morning about the LDS Church's wet pack cannery facility in Kent, WA. I've never done wet-pack canning before, but I have gone to the dry-pack cannery in Mukilteo several times. It is a great way to stock up on basics. My biggest problem with both short- and long-term food storage is the
storage part of the equation...my pantry is filled to bursting, and I have overflow storage in several places in the garage.
